Investigating the Mineral Composition of Rocks Classroom Project

Students learn more about the mineral
composition of rocks as they prepare their
own individual charts. The set includes one
full-size wall chart, 30 student charts on
heavy 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, more than 30
small specimens for each of the individual
rocks and minerals found on the wall chart,
a study guide, and one test kit including
streak plate, glass plate, hand lens, magnet,
dropper bottle, nail, penny, and hardness
scale.
