This unique set contains three mineral
tests in one box, plus the innovation
of the hardness testing points. Unlike
other tools that chip and break, the four
double-ended picks in this set are made
of durable ground metal and alloy points.
The points can be resharpened easily with
the included grinding stone. For ultimate
convenience, the picks are stamped with
the indicated hardness value, 2 through 9
on Mohs’ hardness scale, and are colorcoded
for quick identification. Packaged
in one neatly arranged, compact wooden
case, the set also includes a streak plate,
glass plate, and instructions.
