Unlike other ways of viewing the Sun, this wooden, folded-Keplerian telescope
is safe and easy to use. By using a series of mirrors, the telescope projects
a 3 1/2 (85 mm) image of the sun onto a white viewing screen that can
be easily seen by several students at once. They will be able to trace the
changing positions of sunspots and compare them on a daily basis. The kidfriendly
telescope is a folded refractor, F11, altitude-azimuth design and can
be used to observe eclipses as well.Features: 27 1/2 (700 mm) FL objective
