This simple technique allows you to show the entire class how crystals grow. Simply grow the crystals in a Petri dish, which has been placed on your overhead projector. The crystals grow quickly and can be crystallized and dissolved over and over again.
In addition, the Petri dishes can be photocopied for use in notes or quizzes. It includes a teacher’s guide and student activities.
