Strip testing clamps

A pair of strong acrylic clamps which allow strip material to be investigated for breaking strain, stretch etc.
The clamps have wing-nut fixings and an attachment system which ensures freedom from slip. Typical investigations would include comparison of carrier-bag material strength, newspaper strength including ‘grain’, stretch of fabrics and plastics etc.
The top clamp can be hooked onto a support such as a laboratory clamp and the lower one loaded with standard slotted weights.
Suitable for KS3 to Post-16 with full instructions included. Max load 10kg.
